The York County Planning Commission has just created a new web mapping application called the York County Recreation Viewer. It is our hope that this viewer will be a beneficial resource to you and your residents by providing easy access to information about the many outdoor recreation opportunities found in York County.
The York County Recreation Viewer is a mapping application that you can use to find outdoor recreational opportunities in and around York County, Pennsylvania that are open to the public. The application allows you to view State, County and Municipal Parks, as well as hiking and biking trails. By simply clicking on the recreational feature, you can find more information, such as the types of amenities available at each park. The application also includes links with helpful information on Social Distancing as well as adjacent Pennsylvania and Maryland recreational opportunities. These links are located in the upper right corner of the application.
