The $5.83 million grant that was awarded to Dover Township from the FEMA/Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities Grant Fund has been rescinded due to cuts with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Therefore, this joint project involving both West Manchester and Dover Township will not move forward unless additional funding is made available. Staff is currently working to finalize the permitting and will continue to write grant applications to ensure this project is completed as it will mitigate flooding issues along the Little Conewago Creek between the two communities.
