Effective: Wednesday, April 1st, 2020
As you know, our office has been closed to the public for the last three weeks in order to aid in the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 and protect our staff and the general public., we instituted a protective measure to keep the Dover Township municipal offices at 2480 West Canal Road closed to visitors for two weeks.
We are now extending that closure to April 30th.
The Dover Township Board of Supervisors have recently authorized a Disaster Declaration effective March 6th and running for 90 days in coordination with the Governor’s Disaster Declaration. This declaration is being made solely for the ability to be reimbursed by State and Federal Agencies for any expenses that our Township and other service providers like the Dover Township Volunteer Fire Department and Dover Ambulance Club have incurred during this pandemic. Please continue to be vigilant and make purchases that are necessary and thoughtful of the community as a whole. We will continue to provide the community with essential services to the best of our abilities during this unusual time.
Please stay safe and healthy.
