Effective: Monday, May 11th, 2020
As you know, our office has been closed to the public for several weeks in order to aid in the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 and protect our staff along with the general public. As a municipality we are not covered by the restrictions on businesses, but have been making every effort to share in the responsibility that we all have at this time. With construction being permitted to start back up, we felt that we needed to make our office more available. Therefore, beginning May 11th, 2020, the following will occur:
Our Office is now open, but all visitors MUST wear masks and SIGN IN for the purposes of contact tracing should one of our staff or a visitor test positive for COVID-19. Our staff will be wearing masks and we appreciate your cooperation for the benefit of the community as a whole, as we all are anxiously awaiting a return to normal business as soon as possible. Please follow the signs and maintain social distance of 6 feet.
Utility Billing Customers: Mailing your payments is the best option. However, if you do drop it off, you will be REQUIRED to use the drop box in the vestibule. Checks are the best method of payment. Do NOT bring payments into the building. Our staff has clearly marked the door you are to use for this purpose and has provided a telephone for you to call the desk should you have questions about this new procedure.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation with these new procedures. Please stay safe, calm and healthy. We can make this work, if we work together!
Please stay safe and healthy.
